After rehabilitation of a pipeline with such a sleeve, the polyethylene side makes the internal, smooth surface of the pipe. The sleeve is soaked with epoxy resin.

The standard material used in TUBETEX quality products is high-resistant polyester, whose main properties include excellent mechanical properties (high tensile strength, low creeping, stable mechanical properties), excellent temperature stability (150°), and excellent abrasion resistance.[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading heading_semantic=”h3″ text_size=”h3″]EQUIPMENT FOR INSTALLING PIPE LINERS[/vc_custom_heading][uncode_list icon=”fa fa-check”]

sewer cleaning machine – with water heating

remote controlled inspection camera

remote controlled equipment for internal milling of pipeline

liner inversion and curing machine (inversion drum)

by-pass equipment (pumps, hoses)

test equipment

[/uncode_list][vc_custom_heading heading_semantic=”h3″ text_size=”h3″]PREPARATION FOR THE INSTALLATION[/vc_custom_heading][vc_column_text]TECHNICAL EVALUATION OF THE PIPELINE

Before rehabilitation of the pipeline using the sleeve method, the pipeline is jet-cleaned with a cleaning machine placed on a truck. An exceptional combination of a high-pressure pump (1200 bar) with water heating ensures that the pipeline is thoroughly cleaned (steel, cast iron) from any settled sludge and build-ups, degreased and dried. After that the pipeline is inspected with a remote controlled camera. The analysis of the video from the sewer inspection forms the basis to create a detailed computer report on the technical condition of the pipe.

SATURATION OF THE PIPE LINER

The lining is soaked with epoxy resin on the construction site and after flowing through calibration rollers it is ready for installation.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_custom_heading heading_semantic=”h3″ text_size=”h3″]INSTALLATION[/vc_custom_heading][vc_column_text]Using a sleeve to rehabilitate a pipeline consists in lining the surface of the host pipe with a coating made of a resin soaked sleeve which fits the shape of the host pipe. After curing, the lining covers any cracks and seals the pipeline and serves as a replacement pipe, also preventing infiltration and exfiltration.
The lining is introduced into the rehabilitated pipeline using the inversion method which prevents risk of damage of the lining during its insertion. An inversion drum is used for that purpose: After inserting the lining inside, through a special connection it is filled with compressed air and steam which causes resin polymerization and the hardening of the lining. The resin soaked unwoven fabric making part of the sleeve adheres to the wall of the rehabilitated pipeline
After the sleeve hardened, using a camera, control tests are carried out to asses the internal surface of the pipe. Also, air-tightness is tested. After that the pipe is ready for use.[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading heading_semantic=”h3″ text_size=”h3″]CONTROL[/vc_custom_heading][vc_column_text]CCTV INSPECTION

Once the installation is finished and drains are opened a CCTV acceptance inspection is made and recorded on a DVD or another storage medium.
